Deletion and Privacy Requests
UNPUBLISHED ENGLISH WORKING DRAFT — NOT APPROVED FOR PRODUCTION. No public effective date has been set. Legal review, required appointments and permissions, final consent/rights procedures, and actual release qualification remain outstanding. These documents do not activate a customer contract or certify compliance. Deleting a Kintwined account is separate from removing a device, disconnecting an Apple or Google identity, deleting local or provider storage, leaving a tree, and cancelling a subscription. The configured account-deletion flow removes account access and requests deletion of its remotely stored encrypted content. First export any permitted content you want to keep and confirm that the archive can be opened. Recipients, offline devices and independent backups may retain copies.
Delete an answer to remove your answer from active authorized copies when those devices synchronize. Previously received exports, screenshots, provider backups, and offline devices may retain information. The final release must show which deletion steps succeeded, remain queued, or are unavailable.
Leave a tree to end your membership; this does not erase other contributors’ content. Disconnect storage to remove that client’s provider authorization; this does not delete cloud data. Reset local data to remove Kintwined’s local cache and keys on that device; this does not guarantee deletion of provider copies or cancellation of billing.
Deleting an owned tree requires a clear preview of affected people, content, collaborators, and provider objects. Provider retention/trash rules may apply. To cancel a paid subscription, use the store or billing provider separately.
This is an unpublished draft. Contact privacy@lostmeteor.com for a privacy or deletion request; do not send passwords, private keys or recovery codes. Exact provider cleanup, retention and identity/authority checks must be qualified before release. Billing cancellation is separate from account deletion.
